Wealthio ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Wealthio mobile application. Wealthio is a personal finance app that helps you track net worth, build money habits, budget, and project your financial future — and, if you choose, connect your bank to keep that data current automatically.
The same summary we disclose on the App Store's Privacy label — every category below is tied to your account, none is used to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we don't run any ad or analytics-tracking SDKs.

We never collect: your location, contacts, browsing/search history, health data, or your bank login credentials (those go straight to Plaid — we never see or store them). We don't have any advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs in Wealthio.

Connecting a bank account is entirely optional. If you choose to, we use Plaid Inc. to securely link your account.
Your use of Plaid is governed by Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. By connecting an account, you authorize Plaid to access account information on your behalf and share it with Wealthio.
We use the information we collect to:
Wealthio can generate personalized insights, reviews, and recommendations. Basic insights are computed on-device or on our own servers. When advanced AI features are used, a summarized snapshot of the relevant financial data (such as category totals and trends for the period) may be sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, solely to generate your insight. This data is processed to provide the feature and is not used to train third-party AI models or for advertising.
Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your data is associated with your account and protected by Row Level Security policies, so only you can access your own records. Sensitive credentials such as Plaid access tokens are kept server-side and are never sent to the app.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information, bank data, or financial data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not use your bank or transaction data for advertising. Period.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can clear your local data at any time from the Profile tab ("Reset All Data"), and disconnect any linked bank from the Wealth tab. To permanently delete your account and all associated data — including your profile, accounts, budget, and any bank connections — use the in-app Delete Account option (Profile → Settings → Delete Account). This immediately and irreversibly erases your account and all associated cloud data, and invalidates any connected bank tokens. You can also request deletion by emailing us at support@getwealthio.app.
Wealthio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
