Welcome to Wealthio. By downloading, installing, or using the Wealthio mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Rahul Vadlakunta ("we", "us", or "our"), the developer of Wealthio. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms.
Wealthio is a personal finance tracking and education application that helps you:

Nothing in the app — including AI-generated insights, projections, simulations, or wealth roadmaps — constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All projections are estimates based on the data you enter or import and standard compound growth assumptions. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making financial decisions.
To use Wealthio, you must create an account using a valid email address, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for:
Wealthio offers optional premium features through in-app purchases:
Premium unlocks: AI Wealth Coach, Future You projections, Life Decision Simulator, Wealth Roadmap, unlimited scenarios, bank connections, and full weekly/monthly reviews.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID Settings. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.
Payments are processed by Apple Inc. through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status.
Connecting a bank account is optional. If you choose to, Wealthio uses Plaid Inc. to securely establish the connection. You enter your bank credentials directly with Plaid — we never see or store them. Access is read-only: Wealthio can view balances and transactions but cannot move, withdraw, or transfer funds. By connecting an account, you authorize Plaid to access your account information on your behalf and share it with Wealthio, and you agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. You may disconnect a linked bank at any time from within the app.

The projections, scores, and estimates shown in Wealthio are calculated from the financial data you enter or import via a connected bank. We make no guarantee that:
Projections use standard compound growth assumptions and are illustrative only.
⚠️ AI output is machine-generated, not human-reviewed advice. Wealthio's AI Wealth Coach, insights, and weekly/monthly reviews are generated automatically by a third-party AI model (see our Privacy Policy for details on the provider). No human reviews, verifies, or approves this content before it reaches you.
By using any AI-powered feature, you acknowledge and agree that:
Wealthio and all its content, features, and functionality — including the logo, design, code, text, graphics, and AI-generated insights — are owned by Rahul Vadlakunta and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.
Some parts of the app let you enter your own text or labels — for example, account names, savings goal names, budget category names, or messages you send to support ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display it back to you solely to operate and improve the app.
You represent that you have the right to submit your User Content and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or violate any law. Wealthio does not currently display any user's content publicly or to other users — your data is private to your account. If we introduce shared or community features in the future, we will update these Terms accordingly before doing so.
We may remove or refuse to store User Content that violates these Terms, infringes a third party's rights, or that we determine in good faith to be harmful, unlawful, or abusive — see Section 11 (Content Removal & Takedown Policy).
We may remove, restrict, or refuse to display any User Content — with or without prior notice — that we determine in good faith violates these Terms (including Section 6, Acceptable Use), applicable law, or a third party's rights. If you believe any content associated with your use of the app should be reviewed or removed, email support@getwealthio.app with a description of the content and the reason for your request; we aim to respond within a reasonable time. We have no general obligation to monitor User Content, and removal of content does not waive any other rights or remedies available to us under these Terms.
Wealthio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided through the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use Wealthio, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD if you have not made any purchases.
Your use of Wealthio is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to the app, other users, or us. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the app, or by emailing us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Nothing in this section removes any protection you are entitled to under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your own place of residence, which continue to apply where required.
Binding arbitration (outside Quebec/Canada). If you are not a consumer protected under Quebec's Consumer Protection Act or another Canadian consumer-protection statute, you and Wealthio agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the app will be resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. There is no judge or jury in arbitration, and court review of an arbitrator's decision is limited. You and Wealthio each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class, collective, or representative action. The arbitration will be administered under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider (such as the American Arbitration Association) in effect at the time the claim is filed.
30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@getwealthio.app within 30 days of first creating your account, stating clearly that you wish to opt out of arbitration. If you opt out, disputes will instead be resolved in the courts of the Province of Quebec, and neither party waives the right to a jury trial where legally available.
Quebec & Canadian consumers. If you are a consumer resident in Quebec, or otherwise protected under applicable Canadian consumer-protection legislation that prohibits mandatory arbitration or class-action waivers for consumer contracts, this arbitration clause and the class-action waiver above do not apply to you, and any dispute will instead be resolved in the courts of the Province of Quebec, without prejudice to any other venue mandatorily available to you by law.
